Getting An Ex Back When You Dumped Him
If your ex dumped you and you want to get him back, that’s one thing. But if you were the one who dumped him, things are going to be a little bit different. Kylie had this problem. She was the one who dumped Tyler and then she changed her mind.
Kylie dumped Tyler because her “friend” Austin told her he was sleeping around on her. She didn’t bother to ask Tyler if it was true. Instead she just confronted him and emotionally accused him of cheating on her. Tyler was stunned.

He had no idea what she was talking about or that the rumor had been going around. He didn’t defend himself because he was so surprised. And so Kylie just said that’s it and walked off.
It wasn’t long before Kylie realized she had made a mistake. Her so-called friend was just trying to cause trouble. Now she didn’t know what to do. She didn’t want to look like an idiot but getting her ex back was really important to her.
Kylie decided to give Tyler a call and explain what had happened. By he was hurt that she had not trusted him and that she couldn’t even think he would do something like that to her. He wasn’t interested in taking her back.

The next thing Kylie did was to write a long, heartfelt letter to Tyler apologized for what she had done and for not trusting him. She promised she would never mistrust him again. She talked about the good times they had shared and told him she didn’t want to throw it all away because of one stupid mistake.
She explained that she was just insecure and that she loved him so much that the thought of him being with someone else drove her crazy. Losing him completely was too painful to even consider.
She mailed the letter and then decided to wait for things to cool down a little bit. Getting an ex back after making such a big mistake required a different approach than she had expected. She needed to give Tyler time to let the hurt heal.
Next time she bumped into Tyler she worked really hard to be friendly and nice and managed to slip in a few of their shared memories into the conversation. She did not say she was sorry again. She had done that twice already. It was enough.
A few weeks later, Kylie was able to get tickets to go see a band that she knew as Tyler’s favorite band. She invited him to go to the concert with her as friends. This seemed a good opportunity to pave the way to some kind of future relationship without pushing.
When getting an ex back after making a big mistake, it is not easy. On top of being embarrassing, it’s difficult to have to apologize and start from the beginning. Trust is an essential ingredient to all relationships and it takes time to build and even more time to rebuild if the trust is broken.
Kylie and Tyler were able to mend fences and did in fact get back together. In time, Tyler was able to see that Kylie reacted out of her love for him and as a result they were able to put it behind them. Kylie had done the right thing getting an ex back.
